Living Amid What Once Was Thought to be Impossible!

Friday June 11th, immediately following sunset

Event description: In the year 1997, Comet Shoemaker-Levy 9 broke apart into 23 separate pieces and plunged through the atmosphere of Jupiter, causing not only a 'crater chain' on the planet Jupiter, but causing a flurry of activity among planetary scientists. COULD THIS HAPPEN AGAIN? HAD IT HAPPENED BEFORE ANYWHERE ELSE? COULD IT HAPPEN ON EARTH???????

Crater chains were found on Ganymede and Callisto, moons of Saturn, in short order; then, crater chains were found on Earth's moon. The question of 'Could it have happened on Earth?' was within the grasp of some researchers, but required tectonic reconstruction to visualize. Another possible candidate was in the war-torn nation of Chad, where factions with guns made it unlikely for researchers to visit.

And then Weaubleau was found. The Weaubleau structure near Osceola was found in 2003 to be an actual remnant of a meteorite impact that occurred 340 to 345 million years ago. Lining it up with two other known meteorite impacts at Decaturville and Crooked Creek required only a straight line on the map. A crater chain? The impossible become actual on Earth?

Come with Rhino as he explores the possibilities. Rhino was part of the scientific team that drilled all three of these structures in 2003 and later....and proved that the impossible is actually probable, and changed how we understand Missouri's geology

Sensual Seduction

Modern dance is a relaxed, free style of dance using emotions and moods to design the steps... It has a deliberate use of gravity and embraces organic physical motion... Some gestures are naturally sensual and seductive in a beautiful, spiritual manner... Modern dance invokes anger, fear, happiness, disappointment, confusion, complacency, eroticism, sexuality, etc. and transpires those feelings through the dancer's movements...

This event will feature modern dance instruction intended to extract your inner passions and whatever else lurks beneath your fleshy exteriors to form outward displays of self-assurance, self-awareness, raw desire, and fluid expression...

Men and women equally welcome!

NOTE: While instructor and/or attendees may decide to utilize carnal, sexual movements in the form of modern dance, this is NOT a burlesque class!
